LOOKING FOR MORE INFORMATION?
We want to help you, but we are not able too without the information requested below! When you have all the required information listed below,
please e-mail it to: ironman@ironmanwindmill.com for a quotation. You can also call us at: 86-27-8349-6716. If it's about using a windmill, you will still need to have the information below. 1. You will be pumping from a well, creek, river, lake (pond) or other? 2. How much water do you require daily? 3. What will the water are used for? 4. Distance to the tank or reservoir from the pump? 5. The elevation to the top of the tank or reservoir into which the water will be pumped is how high above ground level from the base of the windmill tower? 6. The height of obstructions, such as trees or buildings and the distance from the windmill site?
IF YOU WILL BE PUMPING FROM A WELL: 7. Depth to the bottom of the well? 8. Inside diameter of the well or well casing? 9. The elevation from ground level to water level? 10. What is the maximum hourly supply available for pumping? 11. When pumped at the maximum rate, how far will the water level drop? IF YOU WILL BE PUMPING WATER FROM A CREEK, LAKE, TANK OR OTHER SURFACE WATER SOURCE: 12. The distance along the ground from the source of water to the site where you plan to install your windmill? 13. The elevation from the lowest water level to the pump is? Note! Windmill pumps work best when they are located below water level, but they can still be used successfully when drawing water up to the pump. When drawing water up to a pump, the elevation can never be more than 7M and should be kept to the lowest possible elevation for the best performance. 14. Which Illustration shows your pumping situation: A, B, or C?
This method places the pump below water level and uses a pump rod seal allowing water to be pumped as high as 400M. Although we show a well as the source of water, the source can also be a lake, is shown.
These methods allow pumping into a tank or reservoir below the elevation of the windmill and do not require a pump rod seal. The source of water can be a well, river, lake etc. 15. Windmills require wind and performance is dependent on your wind situation. What are you average wind speeds? How many hours per day? Can you let us know about seasonal variation? We have to have some idea of your winds. All Units are in: Meters or Feet:
