IRON MAN HANDPUMPS are an ideal solution for manually pumping water from drilled or dug wells, cisterns or other sources of water. They are able to lift water as high as 65M, are long lasting and heavily built to provide many years of dependable service. They are made from heavy cast iron and steel. IRON MAN HAND PUMPS are a permanent solution to the sanitation problems caused by open wells and also put an end to lost buckets. They are very easy to use and maintain. The pump cylinder is always below water and never needs priming. The well pipe (1-1/2") threads inside the frame just below spout. The back is threaded to allow pumping water up to a tank at a higher elevation and, if desired, some distance from the hand pump so gravity flow can be used to provide continuous water pressure. Pumping to an elevation above hand pump requires an optional pump rod seal.
The Iron Man Hand Pump uses a standard windmill pump rod. There are two settings to adjust the stroke for ease of use and maximizing water output. The Iron Man Hand Pump is an excellent entry sale that can lead to future windmill sales. The top steel guide rod is extra long and has a pin hole to easily attach to a windmill pump rod. This means that it is a simple matter to convert the hand pump from manual operation to windmill power and back again. No wind, use the hand pump. As soon as you have a little wind, use the windmill. Its easy and dependable. |
