This 20ft IRON MAN windmill is located 150M - 490 ft. from the spring, which is the source of water. The pump is located at the spring and operated by an IRON MAN remote operating system. This windmill lifts water 170M - 550ft. to a water tank for a village water supply. The tower is anchored to solid rock with heavy rock bolts. HOW MUCH WATER IS USED

WITH COMMON APPLICATIONS?

 

A cow requires 15 gallons per day.

A horse requires 10 gallons per day.

A hog requires 2 gallons per day.

A sheep requires 1 ½ gallons per day.

25 chickens require 1 gallon per day.

Flush toilets vary greatly - anywhere from 1 ½ gallons for the newest models to 6 gallons for toilets of old design.

An average shower or filling a bathtub can use 30 gallons.

An average ½” garden hose uses about 200 gallons per hour.

An average ¾” garden hose uses 275 to 300 gallons per hour.

Lawn sprinkles can use 120 gallons per hour each.

Additional water should be allowed for general sanitation and cleanup as required.

Requirements for farm irrigation should be carefully considered and go beyond the scope of this discussion.
