Being in the windmill business has its advantages. One of them is that we get to travel to a lot of interesting places and make a lot of good friends. We try to take photos and make movies when we are out on the road, setting up our windmills and we would like to share some of them with you.

Iron Man Windmill Co. is proud and honored to be work closely with the China Windmill Foundation to provide assistance to poor farming villages in China. This work includes providing wind powered clean water projects to agricultural villages that are at the lowest end of the economic spectrum. Our projects are carried out by an active array of competent groups who provide services drilling wells, building and installing windmills, and installing water storage, treatment and distribution systems. These programs include assistance for the provision of clean water for domestic and agricultural use. Priority is given to villages suffering with health threatening polluted drinking water issues and agricultural projects that work to improve poor villagers income and the quality of life. RURAL VILLAGES IN CHINA

We put together this collection of images of life in rural China that also shows some of our work helping poor villages. IRON MAN WINDMILL CO. is committed to helping improve the quality of life for farm families and especially poor rural villages. We accomplish this by working to improve farm income by providing an abundant supply of clean water for domestic and agricultural use. Most of these photos are from places where the residents have never seen a non-Chinese before. See a part of China rarely seen by outsiders. Our good friend, Frank Lee, asked us put this collection together and he rewarded us by producing the soundtrack. He also wrote the song!

Well, that's what we call it. Here is a collection of various videos of IRON MAN WINDMILLS that have been set up in locations across China. Look closely at trees, grass and other plant life in these movies to get an idea of how our windmills work in low wind speeds. The only footage of our windmills working in high wind conditions are in Inner Mongolia, where the winds can be so strong that they blow rocks through windows and nearly ripped the hood off our truck once. The earliest documented use of windmills goes back to the 8th century in China and the idea spread around the world with every culture adding improvements.
