It's one thing to see the land slides. It's a different matter when you see the human cost. Hundreds of cars and trucks were on the highway at the time of the earthquake. There was no warning. For allot of people, a mountain just fell on them and it was over. They were people just like all of us. They had homes and families. They had sent their children off to school and were just going about their business. They left on an errand in this world, only to arrive at a destination in another. Did the driver of this car survive? I don't know, but if they did, they were amongst the very few on this highway who did that day.
