SOURCES OF WATER YOU CAN PUMP FROM WITH AN IRON MAN WATER PUMPING WINDMILL
| You can pump water from almost any source, including drilled and open wells, tanks, ponds, lakes and rivers. It is best if your windmill pump is located below water level, but many application draw water up to the pump, such as some applications when pumping from lakes and rivers. When the pump can only be located above water level, the elevation to water should be as close as possible for best results. In no situation should you attempt to place your pump more than 16ft (5M) above the water level. Closer to water will always provide the most dependable results. Water can be lifted as high as 1200ft (400M) above water level with our large 20ft (6M) diameter windmills. |
